Update in photos, November!

Day of Testing!

Happy three months to our little man! On November 24th Reid finally had his tests to confirm his multicystic displastic kidney. We took off at 6:30am to the med center. My mom joined us- Glenn had a lot of work to finish before Thanksgiving.

Reid was a trooper. He cried when he should- injection of good ole radioactive material, that shows up on the scan of his kidneys, and when he had his catheter for the xrays of his bladder and urinary tract. The catheter seemed to take forever to get into place :( Momma was about to whip out a boob on the table to get him to calm down! He napped during the scan, where they swaddled him and taped him to the table- his kind of nap! He fussed and cried some during the xrays, not quite so comfy and they had to pour water on him to get him to pee! I would cry to I suppose!

We don't have the official results, but all looked good to Dr. Heather. There was only material in one kidney on his scan. Which is a good thing. If we saw life in the bad kidney there would be a possibility of surgery. The Dr that completed the xrays said that he didn't have any reflux! PRAISE. Everyone that knows me knows that I would cringe nightly if I had to give him daily antibiotics, which with a good VCUG(xrays), means that is not something we have to do.

Enjoy....

LOVE- my four letter word for Family!

And I love mine! I miss step several times as a mother, I make mistakes and drill myself for what permanent damage I have done by getting frustrated, angry or impatient. But I love like the best of them. I give them all I have in love. We hug, smile, laugh and most importantly LOVE!

We got some photos done this past weekend, and I am so happy that we have these glimpses of love in our lives each year at every stage!

Enjoy our love.....

Dominy's galore

We were pleasantly surprised when Chad came into town with his new wife Megan, November 6&7. It made for a busy weekend, but we loved visiting and seeing them for more than an hour or so :) After church Aunnie snapped some cute family photos...

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday to my Ayden Bug!

Ayden celebrated his big 5! I am so proud of my little man. He is growing up so quickly, especially since the arrival of the littlest Dominy.

Ayden had a great birthday, starting with a special birthday breakfast and presents! He went to school where he got cookies for snacks to celebrate. Oma came to his school to have lunch with him! Ayden couldn't wait to tell me all about his great day when I picked him up. Ayden's party was the night of his birthday at Chuck E Cheese. We had a terrific time and were exhausted by the end. Ayden still had more gifts to open at home, and was a champ staying up way past his bedtime.

I can't believe that 5 short years ago Glenn and I welcomed our first son into this world. He is the most independent little guy and so happy in his own skin. Some of his favorite things: Swimming and diving, playing with his super brother Mason, reading and laying down with his Daddy, transformers, family, chicken nuggest, showers that he does all by himself!, Reid, being a big brother, scooters and bicycles, school, and cake and candy!

Enjoy.....

Happy Halloween!

We had a great day on October 31st. Ayden was Wolverine, Mason was Black Spiderman and Reid was a baby. Our day started at the A-Beautiful Pools and Diana Fraser garage sale. I sold my old washer and dryer, and a tv. The boys wore their cosutmes and played in the yard- it was beautiful weather! We came home and carved our pumpkin and made yummy halloween rice crispy treats. After dinner, we went to our old neighborhood and trick or treated! We had a great time seeing friends that we don't get to see enough and spending time with the boys! It was a lot of fun, and Ayden and Mason were really into this year.

Enjoy......
