Advent time...

Ayden Pre-K Christmas Party

Isn't he a cutie!!! **of course my kids, but their daddy is who I was talking about!

Ice Skating in Texas

Advent on the 18th was all about ice skating! Oma and Gomer joined us for this festive evening. We went to eat at Johnny Rockets, and then headed to the outdoor rink that is up Thanksgiving through the New Years. Daddy and Oma were pros. They looked they have been ice skating their entire life. Ayden and Mason used the walkers and did as best as they could. Mason found out quickly that he enjoyed falling and then continued to do it over and over. Ayden learned the faster you spun your feet like running, you actually could get somewhere. He also did really well without the walker once he went over to the kiddy rink!

Aunnies tree for the Boys

I have always wanted to get a tree (a real one) for the boys upstairs. I couldn't get my stuff together to get it done, so my sweet sister stepped in and got everything we needed for this to happen!

Ayden's Christmas program

This is not titled Ayden and Mason's program- because Mason got sick sick and had a high fever that day. He missed this year's program!

My promise

Not because anything happened good or bad, but just to promise...to myself, the world and most importantly my adorable children, the most precious gift from God.

Advent December 11

We had our friends The Hamners over, and my mom, sister and Matt to decorate Christmas cookies! It was a tad chaotic, but very fun. Glenn and I made the 5 dozen cookies or so the night before. The boys decorated a few cookies and then was done with that and ran upstairs to play. That left a few dozen cookies for the grown ups to finish!
