23 weeks. One week late.

I am really 24 weeks on Thursday morning. I feel it is appropriate for me to be a week late. This is the easiest way to demonstrate how I feel. Behind. I do have more energy than the first trimester, but not as much as I would if I weren't pregnant. Don't get me wrong, not wishing against anything, but when people say "Isn't the second trimester great? You get your energy back and really feel pregnant!" My response is nope. If I wanted energy, I wouldn't of gotten pregnant. I won't really ever get it back to the same level, possibly 60% by 6 months after having the baby!

At 23 weeks....

the baby was the weight of a mango. It has begun to confuse me a bit...one week we go for length, the next for weight.

I am excited for tomorrow's milestone, and hope to post my fruit or veggie on time. 24 weeks means viability for our little man!!!!!!

I will leave you with some pictures of me and my wonderful friend Courtney. She is 28 weeks pregnant in these pictures, and I am 23 weeks! She is also having a little baby boy...

And of course some of the boys and Emma!

21 and 22 weeks!

Oh boy, I am getting to be not so great at updating this! 21 weeks baby boy Dominy#3 was as long as a carrot. By the time I got a photo it was not a great little carrot, so I opted not to post.

22 weeks we are the length of a spaghetti squash. The photo is a bit blurry, it also says that he is developing his little teeth buds this week. It is crazy to me that this little guy took 22 weeks to reach a pound and in 4 short weeks he will be 2 pounds!

An update on us- I am busy busy busy. My husband is as well. Both of us are running on overdrive with work deadlines plus everything we do with the boys! TBall for Ayden is in it's final 3 weeks. We are also coming up on the last month of swimming lessons. Ayden can swim the entire length of a competition length pool- backstroke. Move over Michael Phelps... Mason is getting better slowly but surely- just like his nature. Mason got a new bed and dresser this weekend. We were able to put the bed back into a crib for the new baby and have the room in it's layout position! Mason loves his new bed, but was a bit confused as to where his clothes were going to go until I showed him his new one the next day.

Glenn and I are participating in Bradley classes. For those of you that missed my midwife posts, I will be having this little one drug free. The classes have been informative and I can't wait to get further into them. I am trying to eat a very high protein diet, which is leaving me full all the time. I do have a bit more energy so that is good. Glenn and I are also taking a small break from the children's ministry at church. I miss the little ones a great deal, but we had to cut back to once per month. We were missing out on weekly worship which was affecting us in more than one way. I had such a peace worshiping on Sunday- I have really missed it. My great friend Courtney and her family came to visit Houston this week, and I was so glad I got the see them and spend time with them this week. I will be posting photos of the cuteness very soon....

Happy Easter!

We had a great weekend. Saturday started with Glenn working on our much needed yard. Then we had a tball game, church easter egg hunt, and the amazing service at our church. (excuse the photo from my phone and the boys crazy squint)

There were some amazing testimonies and our Pastor and his wife's message really touched Glenn and I. We then went back to our old neighborhood for a first Birthday party for our friend's little one. It was nice to be back there, and catch up! Glenn played Easter Bunny that night preparing the baskets and eggs.

On Sunday Glenn and I volunteered at Small World at church, and loved on all the kids. It was great to see the message that was prepared especially for the little minds! Then we went to Oma and Gomer's house with Aunnie and John. We had a great lunch, colored eggs and had an easter egg hunt after naps when the sun was shining! I am sorry I couldn't narrow the photos down some more. So stinking cute they are...

I was sucked in and I loved it!

I just finished the Twilight Series. I can't believe I enjoyed the books as much as I did. I am feeling sad now that I will no longer reading about Bella and Edward. Many of my friends had spoken to me about how much they loved the books, and I had put off reading them to avoid the lack of sleep, lack of time, and lack tv time (my guilty pleasure). While I did loose sleep, and I do have 20 hours or so of tv tivo'd, I really liked getting lost in these books, especially since they were not at all what I expected- a book about vampires.

So here I am, back to posting (with the overdue 21 week post coming up on Monday), back to cooking, back to my tv spot and most importantly back to sleeping.

OH BOY! 20 weeks pregnant

The Dominy's will have a little boy join our family! I hope that the readers out there know me well, we are going to get a little personal. If you don't know me that well, please believe I am a good person :o)!

Ayden, Mason, Glenn and I all went to the appointment. Ayden and Mason sat properly, sharing a seat with their eyes glued to the screen. The tech asked us if we wanted to know the sex, and we told her yes. That was the first place she looked. She had it in the area, and I looked to her. Her face said it all, we were having a baby boy!

Ayden and Mason said "a boy?", and I smiled and told Glenn I was happy. I really was very happy. I was with my two little handsome men in the office finding out I would have another one of them. Who wouldn't fall in love? We looked at all of the other body parts, to which Ayden exclaimed "Wow, Awesome, Cool!".

The very clear foot!

And a face photo!

That was pretty special. Mason couldn't figure out how a wand on mommy's tummy was making baby pictures. He also wanted to touch the jelly on my tummy. He told me "Don't move, stay right there."

Then we left the ultrasound room and went and waited for the appointment. Glenn took the boys on a walk/drive, and I started sending out text messages. After 10 minutes or so of that, I was in the midwife's office. I had idle time, and I started to cry just a bit. Not because I was sad that we were having a son, but since this is our last baby, at the possibility of never having a girl. Before this final moment, there was always hope, or thoughts. Now we are a big happy family of boys. Never a dull moment!

The midwife came in and was alarmed at the sight of my tears, and I tried to calm down, but ended up crying a bit more. We spoke, had our visit, and I went and waited for Glenn in the beautiful garden outside the office building. When waiting, I let a few more tears fall, and then Glenn drove up. He felt so bad for me, but I tried to explain that I was happy! He gave me some of the wonderful things about boys and having another one, which I appreciated, but of course I know!!! I love my boys! I was done with my moments of sadness, about as quick as they started.

We went and had lunch, and played for the rest of the day!!!! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful life and family. I will never wish that anyone is not who they are! And now begins the life of loudness and chaos- which challenges me to say the least. I think I perform best under those circumstances!

This morning I came in to the office to one of the best shelves so far!

We have come up with some names, and will probably know his name by Monday, keep looking for our post!

19 weeks!

I have been SWAMPED at work! But my wonderful friend and office manager, who is just as busy, if not more- still posted my weekly update, and I forgot to take a photo!!!!!

IMAGINE- a box of milk duds! That is how big the baby was on week 19! :o)
