Our wonderful weekend of R&R!

After a long (and still ongoing summer) I have gotten a break to go to one of Glenn's family's houses! We had a great time together as a family! It was just the four of us, and we got to really enjoy the boys. Ayden is at an awesome learning age, and asked countless questions about the sky, trees, earth, God, bugs, etc..... It was really great to be able to take that beautiful time to learn about all things God gave us!

Ayden also wakeboarded for the first time. He stood on the wakeboard in between Glenn's legs. What an awesome sight. My husband is a rock star and got up on the wakeboard with one hand holding him and one hand holding Ayden. Mason and I were driving the jet skiing. Needless to say we were all multi tasking so photo opportunities were not there!

The boys swam everyday, and played outside! We rode everything we possibly could and Sadie really loved the fresh air and freedom!

On Saturday morning, we ventured into the town of Diboll, Texas. The town is about 8 miles north of the property. We have always seen a refurbished train in town, and we decided to check it out! It was an awesome History Center tucked away in a little town of 5,000. It had the refurbished train where the boys were able to interact with some of the functions of the train. There was a great center inside that we were able to learn about the town's history. There were also great photos of places along the Neches river in Diboll that we can't wait to explore!
