Halloween was fun! We started the afternoon with pumpkin carving and then went trick or treating! Ayden as Bumblebee transformer and Mason as Wow Wow Wubbzy! We have entirely too much candy! One piece a day puts us well into Feb!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!
This past weekend Aubrey, Christen, Colleen, Megan and I went to Diboll, TX. My husband's family has land, lake, and a beautiful house there. We were so lucky to be able to go. The weather was crisp and cool, and warm at times from the sunny day! I had a great time with my sister, two wonderful friends that go back to high school, and one new friend! Glenn was so nice to suggest a night away, and he, Ayden, Mason had a fun boys weekend! I am so lucky to have such a great husband!

Halloween Party Time!
Ayden, Mason, Tori and I went to a Halloween Costume Carnival at The Little Gym. It was a lot of fun, and exciting to see the boys in their costumes a little bit early! The carnival was chaotic with tons of kiddos, but it was a chaos that was worth the enjoyment for the kids! Ayden is Bumblebee transformer, Mason is Wow Wow Wubbzy, complete with a kickity kick ball, and Tori is a princess of course! Ayden also dragged me from complete across the gym to view his twin! He was so excited to see another Bumblebee. Tori also spent the night in the kid's first sleepover! Mason and Tori spent the whole night in Mason's room like big kiddos! So cute!
Pumpkin time!
Every year we go to the Old Time Christmas Tree farm for their pumpkin patch. We ride the train, go down the slides, take a spin on the hay ride, and take pictures with the pumpkins. This year Mimi and Pappy came along with us, and we went to dinner afterwards! It was very fun as always.
And I forgot to mention...while on the train ride Mason found out the pleasures of his finger in his nose. Oh so cute, and disguisting at the same time!

New England Trip 2008
Last Christmas I asked for a trip to New England with our entire family. My Dad is from Pittsfield, MA. Each year until I was 20 we went there once a year to visit. I really wanted to bring my family there to meet all of our wonderful friends, and see the beautiful fall folliage. Mom, Dad, Aunnie, Uncle John, Glenn, me, Ayden and Mason all went on the 7 day trip. We decided to also go visit family as well, and we visited four states on our trip.
We flew into Boston and drove to Hartford, CT to see Uncle Tommy (my dad's college buddy), Trish, Nina and Thomas. It was a four hour plane ride early in the morning and everyone did great! It was a wonderful leg of our trip, and I loved seeing Nina and Thomas all grown up. Glenn did not feel well this part of the trip, but we still had a fantastic time. We also stayed in a beautiful suite!
Then we drove about three hours in our 12 passenger van to Pittsfield. We had a cute house on the lake right down from the River's house. We ate hot dogs from the Hot Dog ranch, visited the golf club, put flowers at my grandpa's grave and enjoyed the sights. We also went to Balance Rock, a huge rock that sits in an amazing position, defying gravity. We visited the falls, and Aunnie, Glenn and John had fun climbing to the top. Too cold to jump! My mom and John took a beautiful hike up the mountain. While they were hiking the rest of us went to a fun museum!
Then we drove 6 hours in our van to Maine. We had a unique "cottage" in a seasonal beach community. It was a challenge staying in our "cottage" without a heater. My dad's friends Mike and Maura own the "cottage:. Very nice of them to let us stay! It was 20 minutes from Portsmouth, NH, where my uncle and cousins live. My cousins Chrissy and Bevin have two beautiful sons, Cohan and Grayson. It was so much fun to visit with them and for all the boys to play. I am so bummed I forgot to take a boy picture of the four of them together. We went downtown, a beautiful park, ate fantasic food (including a lobster boil prepared by Bevin's hubby Eric). It was the best way to end the trip! The beach and light house were beautiful!!!
The trip was so special! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. We all enjoyed every minute of it. It was a termendous amount of work to pack and repack every few days with 8 people (two of them being little guys) but it was a once in a lifetime experience. And a big WOW to everyone that took the time to look at all the pics and read about our trip!

Mothers and their daughters!
My mom, sister and I had some photos taken by Debby Colson! I have a favorite but I love them all!
I absolutely adore the relationship I have with both my sister and my mother. I can honestly say they are my best friends! I can even say that after the week trip we just took together.
My sister is amazingly independent and strong. I look up to her courage and heart!
My mother is a wonderful role model and well rounded woman. I look up to her both personally and professionally. She is the first person I call when I need mom advice, and that is the way God intended that special relationship! It makes me so proud to have a mother that can provide that to me!
Ok enough rambling about how much I love my mom and sister....onto the photos!

Veggie Tales
In the week after the hurricane we planned to go see Veggie Tales, which had been moved to Sugarland for both showings. We thought it would be an awesome way to spend the day out when we did not have power at home! We did get power by the day of the show, but we were still super excited.
I picked the boys up from school a little early and drove down to Sugarland for the show. It was a bunch of fun, and the boys jammed in the aisle, loved the show, and talked about it for days.

Fun news and my morning!
Those that know me, know that when I was a teenager I wanted 6 children! OMG just writing that makes me think that I am really off my rocker! I no longer want 6 children, but I do think that God has another heart and soul meant to be a Dominy. Glenn and I have been discussing and praying about this idea for the last 3 or 4 months. Glenn's stance had been "We are done." Who can blame him, our family is his comfort zone. We have two sons, born in November and July, 20 months apart. Glenn and his brother are 20 months apart, born in November and early August. Picture perfect, his comfort zone. Like I said, we discussed and prayed about our different opinions. Last week, Glenn let me know that he also wanted a third child. :o)
Now, given that this came about last week, we do not have current pregnancy news. I am excited to be able to share our trials, tribulations, and joys of trying to conceive in the upcoming months with our family and friends through our blog. I am one of the biggest planners I know, so we will be attempting to plan the arrival of our new addition around my summer season!
On to my morning...I visited Nativiti birthing center this morning. It was amazing and birthing center births are going to be my new obsession in the upcoming months. Glenn and I have an unbelievable decision to make in the upcoming months regarding the birth of our third child. There are pros, cons, risks and benefits of every decision anyone makes. We will not be taking this decision lightly at all. Again, those that know me, know that there is not a single stone goes unturned in the world of research by Heather. I had so many questions answered this morning speaking with the midwife, and we will be praying for guidance in this exciting journey!
