Reid is one month old. He is much more infant like and less newborn to me. We are cherishing each and every day. My updates on Reid will cut back to monthly check ins, unless of course we all do something grand!
Reid is really paying attention to some of the baby toys we have gotten out from the boys. He has many more awake periods. And best of all his sleeping patterns are emerging!

Reid is four weeks old!
Where has the time gone? I just want it to stand still. These are days that I will never see again with a sweet little newborn baby.
Reid has his first cold :(. I knew that he would have baby colds, since he has touchy, feely, germy little brothers. It is very sad. The first night he didn't know how to cough, so he would just choke. We have only had to do the blue suction about two times a day, which is good because it makes his skin red, and he truely hates it. He has also slept in his swing for three nights to be elevated. I really miss him next to me.
We had a visit to the chiropractor Tuesday, and had a good evening! He gets a little fussy in the evening. I hope it continues. We also visited the doctor on Monday for a low grade fever to be safe. All checked out ok. He is measuring in at 21 inches (short little guy) and 9lbs10oz! He is 25% for heighth, and 50% for weight. Chunker. I can't believe in four weeks he has gained 2lbs, 13oz! He loves his food for sure.
Sleep is going well. He wakes up two to three times per night. Not to bad in my book, and the first stretch is five to six hours.
He is also looking around and concentrating much more. He looks at toys, fans, lights and people. His smiles are sweet, and he is really trying to make some fun baby noises.
The older brothers are playing fall tball, and doing great in school. New photos of them to come soon.

Reid and our family- 3 weeks in!
Biggest changes in our little guy- more awake time. He is still a really good baby. We get a decent amount of sleep at night, and for that I am greatful. As the photos show, he is also batting and tracking objects. They grow too fast, I just want time to stand still.
Biggest changes in our family- we are all used to our little guy and falling into a routine. This is priceless, as it has to be a organized around here to feel normal! Reid is even invited to share in story time with the boys and daddy.

Girls Night and Visit from Alabama
One of my best girl friends came in with her 8 week old son, Lachlan, came to visit us this weekend. Christen, Colleen, and Sarah also came over Saturday night and we had a great time visiting and having a glass (or two) of wine with a nice dinner. I didn't take any photos Saturday night with all the girls. I was two busy with the baby and great friends. Here are some photos of the babies together and Courtney and I. Court and I wanted to document the difference of sizes between big and little man. The boys are 5 weeks apart. Here's to wishing the Steffeks move to Houston or the Dominy's to Alabama!

Mason's 1st Day of School
Week two for Reid
What's new?
Well Reid lost his bungy cord (Ayden and Mason's name for the umbilical cord). This allows us to have a bath that we can really float in. He loves it!
Eats a lot. Usually going 3 hours a few times at the beginning of the night, and then every two hours, or not at all after 4am. Daytime sees us eating every 1-2 hours!
Ayden still adores him! As you can see from the pictures. (Ayden was thrilled Reid was holding onto his arm in the photos below!) Ayden is quite the little helper, knowing and readily doing what needs to be done for mommy very quickly when required.
True to form, and just like his brothers, he HATES the car. This is a problem when you have brothers who need to be driven to their activities.
A very tired mommy and daddy. Three kids is more than anyone could imagine, unless you happen to have three or more. We are getting used to it though.
